Your order in a few simple steps
1 | DESIGN SELECTION
Select your preferred design that reflects your aesthetic and style of your wedding. Think if you need any extras like detail cards, a wedding map or digital printing of envelopes.
You can also add an extra card from another design if it suits your needs better, we will adapt it to fit your invite design during the design process (e.g wedding maps or Dinner Cards can be added and adapted to any Design style).
2 | ONLINE SHOP
There are drop down selections for printing technique, paper choice and quantity. Selecting each drop down according to your preference will show you the final price below the picture.
3 | UNSURE ABOUT SOMETHING?
Scroll down our Design Collection Guide to get a deeper insight into the different options for printing and papers. If you need help, don’t hesitate to drop us a message here. We are happy to offer you a free consultation about the best options for your unique stationery.
4 | THE FINER DETAILS
After you have placed your order we will contact you via Email personally regarding the details of your order. You will receive an order form and a more detailed guide of all the possibilities of your selected design. In the form you will be able to select your preferences regarding fonts, calligraphy, colors & finishes.
If your package includes illustrations, we will ask you to send us names, place and pictures of your location and your preferred view of the building. We will also be there to guide you through any doubts you have about options, style or wording.
5 | THE DESIGN PROCESS - WE’LL HAVE FUN TOGETHER!
Once we receive your order form back from you our work starts! We will get designing and create your beautiful stationery suite. Within approx. 10 working days (or upon individually agreed timeline with you) we will send you a PDF file with a preview of your suite. This will include any extras you have chosen and give you a precise idea of the final look of your suite.
6 | FINE TUNING & CORRECTIONS
Once you receive our Preview PDF make sure to check all print items throughly. All our Design Collections sets include one round of corrections to perfect your print product. Further corrections that are not included in the package price will be invoiced separately with a flat fee of € 45,00/corrections round per print product.
7 | APPROVAL & PRODUCTION
After you final approval we need approx. 3-6 weeks to complete printing and assembly of your suite. After that we will send your order off to you or you are welcome to come pick it up from our studio!
8 | TIMING
Calculate that we approx. need 6-12 weeks to complete your order from order to delivery-ready product. If you wish for a specific timeline, please discuss availability with us prior to ordering.
Printing options
Letterpress print (Deboss)
Letterpress produces a tangible impression of the design on to the paper by pressing a die into the paper with ink. This techniques leaves an impression on the paper you can feel with your fingertips. For Letterpress printing we use high quality rubber based inks, allowing us to mix a huge selection of colors(we use the Pantone system). We can also Letterpress print without color (which is called blind Letterpress printing). Works best on lighter colored papers and thick papers. Printed in-house.
Hotfoil print (Metallic)
A type of deep impression printing, similar to letterpress, but this method uses foil that is pressed onto the paper with a metal die and heat. Perfect for metallic colors and for printing on colored papers as foils are completely covering and the paper color is not visible underneath.
Foil printing works wonderful on any paper giving it an extra shiny effect.

Digital print (Flatprint)
In addition to our Letterpress- & Hotfoil printing we offer Digital print for selected print products like envelope addressing or watercolor illustrations. In this type of printing a flat color application is printed onto the paper. We are producing all our digital prints in collaboration with a local printer to best match colors.
We don’t offer Digital printing on handmade paper. Works best on light colored papers and medium weight papers (max. 350 gram).
Paper options
Cotton stock
Available in ivory white in 3 weights, 350, 500 and 700 grams. Soft, fluffy paper from France with a smooth surface with delicate surface structure. Works best with colored envelopes.
Premium colored papers
Premium colored paper from England with a smooth surface and delicate structure, available in 350, 540 and 700 grams. Match it with our colored envelopes from the same manufacturer for a perfect tone-in-tone combination.
Handmade cotton papers
Soft paper, handmade in Austria with a delicate surface structure. Available in creamy white (colors available upon request). Each sheet is handcrafted one at a time and comes with deckled edges. Papers sheets can slightly vary in size, shape and weight, characteristic of an entirely handmade product.
Paper colours
Our paper selection includes beautiful, ivory colored cotton stock & colored premium papers in paper weights from 350 to 700 gram.
Letterpress print colors & Hotfoil Metallic colors
We offer a selection of beautiful printing colors. Choose your favorite to to personalize your design with.
Envelope colours
All envelopes have a deep back flap, peel and seal closure and a light “Carissimo Letterpress” logo emboss on the backside.
Our stock envelopes are all Premium envelopes in 135 gram paper by Colorplan.

We offer different calligraphy font styles you can choose from. If you already love our Design as it is, feel free to order the same combo for yourself.

Monogram styles
Our design range includes 5 monogram styles available to choose from. Your initials will be adapted in the calligraphy font of your choice.

Relief Printing
Details in Relief priting (Embossed print) create a sophisticated and contemporary style.
Die Cutting
Shaped edges for an extra sophisticated look. We stock a variety of die-cut shapes that can be applied to invites, menu cards and smaller cards.
Envelope Liners
Add a beautiful envelope liner for a surprising touch for your guests when they open your invites. Works best with pointed flaps.
Blind Letterpress Frame
Blind Letterpress printed frames will add a sophisticated and classic touch to any card.
Belly Band
Printed, with calligraphy or blank, belly bands give your stationery a modern touch.
Vellum Sleeve
Printed or blank, vellum sleeves add a pretty wrapping to your invites. Closed with ribbons or a wax seal they add romantic vibe.
